Manufacturing multi-layer fabric that is intended to make textile product for person suffering from incontinence and comprises first hydrophobic layer arranged to form front face and second hydrophilic layer arranged to form back face
Manufacturing multi-layer fabric that is intended to make textile product for person suffering from incontinence and comprises first hydrophobic layer arranged to form front face and second hydrophilic layer arranged to form back face
The method for manufacturing a multi-layer fabric comprising a back surface (2) that corresponds to an inner side of the fabric, faces a body of a person and is arranged to be liquid permeable, a front face (3) that corresponds to a visible outer face of the fabric, a first hydrophobic layer (C1) arranged to form the front face of the fabric, and a second hydrophilic layer (C2) arranged to form the back face of the fabric, is claimed, where the hydrophobic layers are distinct, juxtaposed and joined together by a set of warp and/or weft threads of one of the layers to form bonding points (P1). The method for manufacturing a multi-layer fabric comprising a back surface (2) that corresponds to an inner side of the fabric, faces a body of a person and is arranged to be liquid permeable, a front face (3) that corresponds to a visible outer face of the fabric and is arranged to be air permeable and liquid impermeable from the back face, a first hydrophobic layer (C1) arranged to form the front face of the fabric, and a second hydrophilic layer (C2) arranged to form the back face of the fabric, is claimed, where the hydrophobic layers are distinct, juxtaposed and joined together by a set of warp and/or weft threads of one of the layers to form bonding points (P1), and the assembly is concomitant weaving. The method comprises: juxtaposing an insulating layer with the second hydrophobic layer by the warp and/or weft threads of one of the layers, where the insulating layer is distinct and assembled with the hydrophobic layers by a connection unit; separately weaving the insulating layer with the two hydrophobic layers, where the insulating layers are assembled with the hydrophobic layers by the bonding points; simultaneously weaving the insulating layer with the two hydrophobic layers, where the insulating layer is assembled with the hydrophobic layers by the warp and/or weft threads of one of the hydrophobic layers and the insulating layer to form other bonding points; and assembling all the layers to form the multi-layer fabric and forming the bonding points with the warp and/or waft threads of one of the layers to create a grid of connection points extending along a surface of the multi-layer fabric and providing mechanical cohesion. The bonding points comprise adhesive points, thermo soldering points and seam points. A ratio of the density of the warp threads of the first hydrophobic layer and the density of the warp threads of the second hydrophobic layer is in a range of 1/0.2-1/1. A ratio of the density of the weft threads of the first hydrophobic layer and a density of the weft threads of the second hydrophobic layer is in a range of 1/0.4-1/1. A ratio of the density of the warp threads of the first hydrophobic layer and the density of the warp threads of the insulating layer is in a range of 1/0.2-1/1. A ratio of the density of the weft threads of the first hydrophobic layer and a density of the weft threads of the insulating layer is in a range of 1/0.4-1/1. A density of the second hydrophobic layer is most equal to a density of the first hydrophobic layer. A density of the insulating layer is most equal to the density of the first hydrophobic layer. The bonding points are in a form of square, rectangle and rhombus. The binding points formed between two of the layers are in a range of 0.5-3 cm per warp and/or weft threads. An independent claim is included for a multi-layer fabric.
