The device (D) has an input pinion (PE) coupled to a bolt (VR) to be driven in rotation in an actuation event of the bolt. A transfer pinion (PT1) gears the input pinion. An output pinion (PS) is coupled to a lock (SR) to actuate the lock when the lock is driven in rotation. Another transfer pinion (PT2) gears the output pinion to drive the output pinion to rotate. Coupling units (MC) are attached with the transfer pinions to bypass a pane (VT) irrespective of position of the pane in a box (CP) and drive the latter transfer pinion when the former transfer pinion is driven. An independent claim is also included for a locking system.
