METHOD OF CAPTURING CO2 BY ABSORPTION WITH TWO SECTIONS OF ABSORPTION AND USE OF LOW TEMPERATURE VAPOR FOR REGENERATION

The CO contained in combustion fumes is captured by a first absorbent solution circulating in the first circuit S1, then by a second absorbent solution flowing in the second circuit S2. In the first circuit S1, only a portion of the CO is captured (capture rate less than 90%) and the first absorbent solution is regenerated in a dedicated device. Then in the second circuit S2, the remaining CO is removed from the combustion fumes to reach specifications and the second absorbent solution is regenerated in a dedicated device. Preferably, the regeneration of the first absorbing solution will be carried out at a temperature, possibly at a pressure, lower than that of the second absorbing solution.
