The system (1) has a frame (10) including a filter and an air intake grid (30) in a front side (10A) of the frame. A register (40) is attached on a rear side (10B) of the frame, where the register is provided with movable flaps (50). A control mechanism (60) controls the register from the front side of the frame while the filter is in place in the frame. The control mechanism is accessible by a single access point on the front side of the frame, where the access point is covered by the grid.
