The device (2) has receiving units (6, 7) to receive insertion ends (4b, 5b) of studs (4, 5) in insertion housings (8, 9). The receiving units are fixed or ready to be fixed to primary beams (10, 11) of a support structure (1) of a slab formwork. A stop unit (15) retains the insertion ends above the receiving unit in a waiting position. The stop unit is shaped and positioned, so that the insertion ends are pivoted and inserted into the receiving unit under the effect of gravity by rising free ends (4a, 5a) of the studs until raised position of the studs. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a support structure beam for a slab formwork (2) a method for securing a support structure of a slab formwork.
