The system has a computer that is provided with a database. A matrix is provided for classification of capillary damage, where the matrix is stored in the database. The database is arranged with a set of recordings of a cosmetic product, where the system is utilized for comparing information e.g. curly hair, coming from the matrix with the cosmetic product recorded in the database. A proximity criterion is utilized for the product adapted to type of hair of the user. A regulation report containing a process and/or cosmetic product personalized for the user is generated by the system. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining state of hair.
