The method involves creation of a digital model of a face damaged by a medical imaging device. Internal shape of an epithesis is designed according to the damaged face of the digital model. An external shape of the epithesis is designed according to the shape desired for the face. The external shape of the epithesis is designed by digital comparison of the damaged face of the digital model with a digital model of healthy face before deterioration, where the comparison consisting of subtraction of two models. An independent claim is also included for a system for designing a model in numerical epithesis.
