PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent having a high adsorption capacity for a specific target substance by controlling the micropore diameter of the adsorbent and types and densities of functional groups on the surface thereof.;SOLUTION: The carbon-coated porous body provided as an adsorbent includes: a porous substrate 11 including: silicon and oxygen; aluminum and oxygen; or aluminum, silicon and oxygen; and a carbonaceous thin film 13 having a hexagonal net surface structure at least partially covering inner wall planes of micropores 12 of the porous substrate 11 in a state where the carbonaceous thin film 13 includes nitrogen or boron as atoms constituting the skeleton of the molecule of the hexagonal net surface structure and amino groups, sulfo groups, or carboxyl groups as functional groups 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
