PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer enabling efficient adsorptions and recoveries of metal ions and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: (1) The provided graft copolymer is obtained by introducing, to an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, a graft chain possessing amino groups. It is desirable for the graft copolymer to be a porous material and for the average diameter of micropores formed on the surface thereof to be confined to a range of 0.01-50 μm. (2) The provided graft copolymer is manufactured by a method including a step of preparing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a step of introducing, to the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, a graft chain possessing amino groups so as to obtain a graft copolymer to which the graft chain possessing amino groups has been introduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
