PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a structure such as a reducer attached to an axle from a peeled coating or a peeling medium, when peeling off the coating applied on the surface of an axle provided to a drive wheel shaft of a railway vehicle by the injection of a peeling medium.;SOLUTION: An axle coating peeling device 1 includes a blast cover 21 and a GK shielding plate 23 for shielding debris scattered when the coating is peeled from the surface of an axle 4 due to the injection of sodium bicarbonate powder and factory air by a sodium bicarbonate injection nozzle 24, and thereby the debris is prevented from entering the inside of a structure such as a reducer 6 attached to the axle 4. As thus described, when peeling off the coating applied on the surface of axle 4 provided to a drive wheel shaft 3 of a railway vehicle by the injection of the sodium bicarbonate powder and the factory air, the structure such as the reducer 6 attached to the axle 4 can be protected from the peeled coating and the sodium bicarbonate powder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
