PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design panel of an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of attaining a saving of natural resources by making a wide area thin while restricting occurrence of either a recess (shrinkage cavity) or flow mark.SOLUTION: A design panel 100 of an indoor unit of an air conditioner is made such that engagement means 20a, 20b are formed near panel end edges 12a, 12b of a panel rear surface 14 of a rectangle panel plate 10, it comprises a trapezoidal thin wall part 15 occupying a central range in a longitudinal direction of the panel plate 10 in which a location near one panel side edge 11a is longer than the other panel side edge 11b, and a pair of thick wall portions 17a, 17b arranged to hold the thin wall part 15 through wall thickness changing portions 16a, 16b, and a panel surface 13 is formed flat.
