PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scan nonuniformity analysis device capable of highly accurately detecting density nonuniformity in a sub scan direction which occurs in a specific cycle, by using a plurality of recording paper sheets, an image processing device and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A predetermined printer subjected to correction of density nonuniformity in a sub scan direction is caused to continuously print a plurality of test charts for measuring the density nonuniformity in the sub scan direction. Profiles of measurement data obtained by optically reading the test charts are linked in a printing order while considering a paper-to-paper distance D. The connected data are partitioned into a plurality of data items in a specific cycle, data effective in each order on the specific cycle in the plurality of data items are averaged, and the averaged data are analyzed. The density nonuniformity in the sub scan direction is detected by the analysis, and correction data for removing the density nonuniformity in the sub scan direction which occurs in the specific cycle, are created.
