PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load in an inter-vehicle and road-vehicle communication system and quickly evoke an attention to prevent collision between a vehicle itself and another vehicle.;SOLUTION: A mobile-body position information provision device includes: an other-vehicle position information obtainment part for obtaining positional information on another vehicle; a vehicle itself-to-other vehicle distance calculation part for calculating a distance between the vehicle itself and other vehicle on the basis of positional information on the vehicle itself and the positional information on the other vehicle obtained by the other-vehicle position information obtainment part; and an other-vehicle position information output part for setting a frequency of outputting the positional information on the other vehicle obtained by the other-vehicle position information obtainment part at all times, with the frequency set lower as the distance between the vehicle itself and the other vehicle calculated by the vehicle itself-to-other vehicle distance calculation part increases, and outputting the positional information on the other vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
