PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a cold storage material and a container for forming the cold storage material which relatively easily form the cold storage material so as to enhance tight contact with an object of which a temperature is controlled, and which can maintain a temperature in a certain range over a long period of time in use.;SOLUTION: A container for forming a cold storage material includes: an opening part for putting in and out a cold storage material, which is housed in a cold insulation container for housing an object of which a temperature is controlled without a clearance, can be divided into three or more pieces in an upper surface part, a side surface part, and a bottom surface part, has a shape for tightly contacting with and wrapping the object of which the temperature is controlled when incorporated, and is in a solid state or gel state; and a space for housing the cold storage material, and uses a material which does not deform in use. In forming the cold storage material, the cold storage material in the solid state or the gel state packed in a soft resin film is loaded and is heated to form the storage cold material. Alternatively, a bag-like soft resin film is loaded in the container, a cold storage material agent which is made in a liquid state by heating the cold storage material agent in the solid state or the gel state, is packed to form the cold storage material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
