USE OF ANTHRACYCLINE DERIVATIVE FOR TREATMENT OF LIVER TUMOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide use of methoxymorpholino doxorubicin for the treatment of liver cancer.SOLUTION: Provided is use of methoxymorpholino doxorubicin (MMDX) in manufacturing a medicament formulated for intrahepatic administration through the hepatic artery in the treatment of a human liver tumor. The liver tumor is mainly a tumor restricted to the liver, selected from primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or cholangiocarcinoma, or the tumor is liver metastasis. The formulation of MMDX is formulated for administration with a dose of 100 mcg/m2 to about 1000 mcg/m2, as an infusion of about 15 minutes to about 30 minutes every 4 weeks.
