PROPERTY EVALUATION METHOD AND PROPERTY IMPROVEMENT METHOD OF SINTERED ORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a property evaluation method of a sintered ore, with which properties of the sintered ore can be quickly evaluated.SOLUTION: A sintered ore conveyed by a belt conveyor 14 for sintered ore conveyance is imaged by an imaging device 15, residual lime remaining on a surface layer part of the sintered ore is detected by an image of a sintered ore surface obtained by the imaging device 15, then an area ratio of the residual lime to an area of an imaging region of the sintered ore is calculated by an area ratio calculation apparatus 18, and a calculated area ratio of the residual lime is compared with a threshold value equivalent to target strength of the sintered ore to evaluate properties of the sintered ore.
