PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for a transparent composite sheet.;SOLUTION: In one or more embodiments, a method for evaluating a transparent composite sheet comprising a transparent resin and particles is provided, which uses at least one of an average inter-particle distance (A) of closest particles and the standard deviation thereof of the particles in the transparent composite sheet and an average number (B) of the closest particles and the standard deviation thereof. The average inter-particle distance (A) of closest particles is obtained in the process of extracting a structure factor from a scattering intensity spectrum by the measurement of small-angle X-ray scattering, carrying out a reverse Monte Carlo simulation to output particle coordinates, a structure factor S'(q) and a radial distribution function g(r), obtaining an inter-particle distance that gives a maximum value at the first peak in the radial distribution function g(r), and determining the inter-particle distance as an average inter-particle distance. The average number (B) of the closest particles is a number of particles present in the range from the average particle diameter of the particles to the first minimum of the radial distribution function g(r).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
