PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged particle irradiation target refrigerating apparatus, a charged particle beam irradiation system, a charged particle irradiation target refrigerating method, a charged particle irradiation target and a neutron generating method that can use a large current.;SOLUTION: A charged particle irradiation target refrigerating apparatus 70 that is disposed on the rear face side of a target 50 receiving irradiation with a charged particle beam B on the front face and refrigerates the target 50 is provided with: a refrigerating unit 60 that permits passage of refrigerant W on the rear face side of the target 50 and refrigerates the target 50 with the refrigerant W; a plurality of refrigerant inlet paths 72 that cause the refrigerating unit 60 to let the refrigerant W flow in; and a refrigerant outlet path 74 that allows the refrigerant W to flow out of the refrigerating unit 60. The refrigerating unit 60 is provided with a combined refrigerating space 62 in which flows of the refrigerant W from the plurality of refrigerant inlet paths 72 are combined to refrigerate the target 50 and which causes the combined flow of the refrigerant W to flow out through the refrigerant outlet path 74.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
