PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control structure of a first wall and a vacuum container of a nuclear fusion device and a temperature control method of the first wall and the vacuum container of the nuclear fusion device that reduce a heat load to the vacuum container, and can adjust and maintain the first wall at a target temperature even when a heat load change input to the first wall from core plasm occurs.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, the temperature control structure of the first wall and the vacuum container of the nuclear fusion device is provided with, in a torus-like vacuum container 11, : a cooling mechanism 15 removing heat from radiant heat from the core plasma; a heat device 16 heating and raising the temperature of a first wall 12 of a plasma counter wall; and an insulation structure for insulating the cooling device 15 and the heat device 16.
