PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency treatment device for transversal crack of rail, which improves material quality, suppresses deformation by devising a shape, and has no problem in terms of strength.;SOLUTION: An emergency treatment device for transversal crack of rail comprises: side plates 2 respectively arranged on both sides in a direction perpendicular to a rail 1 where breakage occurs; a bottom plate 3 fitted into the side plates 2; and a wedge 4 driven into the bottom plate 3. Carbon steel is used as materials for the side plates 2 and the bottom plate 3, a space part 2A is formed in a central part of each of the side plates 2, and the side plates 2 are fastened to both sides in the direction perpendicular to the rail 1 by driving the wedge 4 into a wedge hole 4A of the bottom plate 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
