PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of preventing an adjusting member disposed between a mounting part of a barrel member and a holding frame from dropping when the holding frame is detached from the barrel member, and to provide a barrel member used in the lens barrel, a holding frame used in the lens barrel, and a method for adjusting an optical axis of an optical element in the lens barrel.;SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes a holding frame 11 for holding one or a plurality of optical elements 12, a barrel member 15 having a mounting part 17 to mount the holding frame 11, and an adjusting member 22 which is disposed between the holding frame 11 and the mounting part 17 in an optical axis direction C of the barrel member 15 and which can adjust at least one of the orientation of the optical axis and the position in the optical axis direction of the optical element 12.
