PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for food store apparatuses and a control method of food store apparatuses that are capable of reliably reducing the power consumption depending on the outside environment.SOLUTION: A control device 3 for food store apparatuses comprises: a target value determining unit 3b which determines a target value of power consumption depending on the current season and time by a plurality of electrical apparatuses 2 in a food store; a control determining unit 3d which selects an electrical apparatus 2 to be controlled from each electrical apparatus 2 so that the power consumption by each electrical apparatus 2 does not exceed the target value and determines control content for the selected electrical apparatus 2 to be controlled depending on the current season and time; and a control execution unit 3e which controls the electrical apparatus 2 to be controlled selected by the control determining unit 3d depending on the control content determined by the control determining unit 3d.
