PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an I type crystal capable of manufacturing only the I type crystal of (S,E)-2-(2,6-dichlorobenzamide)-5-[4-(methyl-pyrimidine-2-ylamino)phenyl]pento-4-enoic acid without including other crystal types, and reducing residual palladium which may be contained in the I type crystal.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing an I type crystal including a dissolution process of dissolving (S,E)-2-(2,6-dichlorobenzamide)-5-[4-(methyl-pyrimidine-2-ylamino)phenyl]pento-4-enoic acid into a solvent containing one or more aromatic compounds selected from a group consisting of anisole, chlorobenzene, cumene, toluene, xylene and dichlorobenzene to prepare a solution, a crystallization process (1) of cooling to 30°C or lower or leaving the solution and crystallizing the I type crystal, and a solid-liquid separation process of solid-liquid separating the I type crystal obtained in the crystallization process (1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
