PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member evaluation device capable of evaluating the presence or absence of a damage of the structural member constituting a structure.;SOLUTION: A structural member evaluation device 10 includes: a first piezoelectric body 14A pasted to a first structural member 16A, contracting and extending according to an applied voltage, and generating a voltage output corresponding to an amount of distortion due to an external force; a second piezoelectric body 14B pasted to the first structural member 16A or a second structural member 16B; transmitting means for generating an excitation signal for contracting and extending the first piezoelectric body 14A; voltage detection means for detecting the voltage output generated by the second piezoelectric body 14B; control means 12 for applying an application voltage to any one of the first piezoelectric body 14A or the second piezoelectric body 14B on the basis of the excitation signal, detecting the voltage output from the other body, and obtaining a transfer function which is a ratio of the voltage output to the application voltage; a storage part for storing the transfer function; and evaluation means for evaluating whether or not the first structural member 16A is damaged by comparing the transfer function stored in the storage part and the transfer function obtained at the evaluation time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
