PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twist groove machining method using a broach in which twist groove machining can be easily performed in a lower hole of a workpiece material by using an inexpensive broaching machine, and to provide the broaching machine and the broach.;SOLUTION: A twist groove machining method using a broach 1 is characterized in that the broach 1 formed in a shaft shape and having a plurality of cutting blades 2 spirally arranged in an outer circumference is inserted in a lower hole H formed in a workpiece material W toward an axis O direction of the broach 1, and while being fed to the tool feeding direction D along the axis line O direction, the broach 1 and the workpiece material W are relatively rotated around the axis O, and thereby twist groove machining is performed in the lower hole H. At least either of the broach 1 and the workpiece material W is rotatably disposed around the axis O, and the broach 1 and the workpiece material W are relatively rotated around the axis O, by component force in the circumferential direction to the axis O among pressing force acting on the workpiece material W from the cutting blade 2 for machining the lower hole H of the workpiece material W, while moving the broach 1 in the tool feeding direction D to the workpiece material W.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
