PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce trouble of a bank clerk engaged in assortment work of valuable media and perform collection according to kind of the valuable media, when the valuable media such as damaged notes, forged notes, checks and drafts are stored in a storage cabinet annexed to a currency processing machine.SOLUTION: A plurality of storage parts 14 store valuable media by kind so that the kinds and number of the valuable media stored in each storage part 14 are managed. When a kind of valuable medium to be stored is received, a report is made by specifying the storage part 14 which corresponds to the kind of valuable medium. The timing of collection of the valuable media stored in the storage part 14 is determined and reported in a timing corresponding to the kind of valuable medium.
