PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a personal digital assistance, which is capable of suppressing the occurrence of unnecessary power consumption by suppressing positioning in the case where a reception state of a GPS satellite signal is not satisfactory.SOLUTION: In the control method for a personal digital assistance having a GPS module mounted thereon, the operation of the GPS module is started on the basis of a reception state of a GPS satellite signal before the stop of the GPS module and an index relating to movement of the personal digital assistance after the stop of the GPS module.
