PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gear processing method in which burr generation is suppressed when cutting a work-piece by skiving with a cutter.;SOLUTION: A work-piece 1 rotatable with a work-piece shaft core Y as a center and a cutter 10 rotatable with a cutter shaft core X as a center are rotated synchronously, cutting by a first cutter part 11 is started by moving the cutter 10 to a first cutting direction, and the cutting depth is made shallow before reaching the ending edge part of the cutting area.
