PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator passenger rescue device capable of restraining the occurrence of failure of a rescue operation.;SOLUTION: An elevator passenger rescue device 32 is provided for rescuing passengers by moving a car 1 to the nearest floor by opening a hoist brake 22, when the passenger-carrying car 1 stops between the floors when the hoist brake 22 brakes a sheave 21, and comprises a brake performance determining device 321 for determining whether or not performance of the hoist brake 22 falls within a reference range and a rescue operation control device 322 for opening the hoist brake 22 when the brake performance determining device 321 determines when the performance of the hoist brake 22 falls within the reference range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
