PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for automatically generating a facility schematic diagram.;SOLUTION: A facility schematic diagram generation device 100 acquires information on items (equipment 3) and piping lines 4 connecting the items, and joint information on the items by reference to a storage part 130 stored with facility information. Rows and columns comprising cells 2 indicating areas surrounded with longitudinally and laterally drawn grid lines 1, and items are arranged such that the items are arranged in different columns. Then the facility schematic diagram generation device 100 arranges one item or piping line 4 in one cell 2, and performs an operation for adding lines above and below an item, adding columns on the right and left of an item, or moving the position of the item so that the condition that a joint opening is not closed and the number of crossing of piping lines 4 is minimized is met on the basis of the joint information of the items, and draws pipe lines 4 connecting items to generate a facility schematic diagram.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
