PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trim a curved surface without complicated manual input, and to obtain a trim curved surface only by selecting a target portion, thereby significantly reducing man-hour.;SOLUTION: In a trimming method in a three-dimensional CAD, an input selection unit 42 selects multiple pieces of curved line data trimming a desired structure from screen data of the three-dimensional CAD, a decomposition unit 44 decomposes the selected curved lines into available nodes and links as trim curved lines, an abstraction processing unit 46 abstracts the curved line on the basis of a predetermined condition in the decomposed area, and a shaping processing unit 48 shapes the abstracted curved line on the basis of the predetermined condition to form a trim curved line, and forms a trim curved surface based on the trim curved line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
