PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a behavior inferring apparatus that can enhance the accuracy of inferring the behavioral state of a person as a consumer, and a threshold calculating apparatus, a behavior inferring method and a behavior inferring program for use in the behavior inferring apparatus.;SOLUTION: A behavior inferring apparatus comprises: a storage unit that stores first data resulting from collection of a wattage consumed by each consumer for a prescribed period; a first calculating unit that, using the first data, calculates second data indicating a frequency corresponding to the magnitude of each wattage; a second calculating unit that calculates a first wattage threshold that discriminates, out of wattage corresponding to the maximum frequency of appearance in the second data, at least the first wattage and a second wattage next largest to the first wattage from each other; and an inferring unit that acquires the wattage consumed by each consumer in an inference period during which the behavioral state of the consumer is to be inferred and, using the wattage and the first wattage threshold, infers the behavioral state of the consumer during the inference period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
