PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary chopper driver which can be assembled while holding down a positional deviation amount between the axes of an output shaft of a motor and a rotary driving shaft of a rotary chopper which are connected to each other by a flexible joint.;SOLUTION: A rotary chopper driver includes: a base member 31 separated from a light source for supplying illuminating light to a photo detecting part of an endoscope; a rotary driving shaft supported on the base member; rotary choppers 40, 42 rotating between the light source supported on the rotary driving shaft and the photo detecting part; a motor 50 attached and detached to and from the base member and having an output shaft 52; a positioning joint member having a first temporary connecting part and a second temporary connecting part attached and detached to and from the rotary driving shaft and the output shaft, respectively; a flexible joint 70 selectively attaching and detaching the positioning joint member to and from the rotary driving shaft and the output shaft; and a connecting member 62 which can be fixed to the motor 50 only at a predetermined position and can be fixed to the base member 31 while the position is varied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
