PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an absorbing gelatin particle which is comprised of nonporous-solid spherical gelatin having a specific jelly strength; a gelatin particle having this gelatin particle in which bioactive substance is dissolved and retained; and a device for a use in which the bioactive substance dissolved, absorbed and retained in the gelatin particle is distributed in an injector together with saline solution.;SOLUTION: The absorbing gelatin particle comprises gelatin having of the jelly strength of 80 to 120 g, in which solid spherical gelatin is crosslinked with heat and the absorbing gelatin particle has the particle diameter of 50 to 2000 μm. In particular, the invention is available as a device for: blood vessel embolization; sustained-release of bioactive substance in which bioactive substance is dissolved and retained; administration into a living body by the way where the gelatin particle for sustained-release of a bioactive substance is distributed together with saline solution in an injector and the injector is filled up with it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
