PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time needed for electronic manual preparation when an electronic manual is prepared.SOLUTION: An electronic manual preparation device includes: time measuring means 101 of generating a time signal; operation control means 104 of generating an operation signal indicating an operation of a manual creator for a screen image of GUI; a memory 103 which temporarily stores the screen image of GUI together with first time based upon the time signal and temporarily stores the screen image of GUI updated based upon operation signal together with second time; video log acquiring means 105 of relating and acquiring, as a video log, the first time and a screen image of GUI at the time, and second time and a screen image of GUI at the time; operation log acquiring means 107 of relating and converting the operation signal and second time into digital data and acquiring the digital data as an operation log; and electronic manual preparation means 109 of acquiring the video log and operation log, and preparing an electronic manual based upon the first time and second time.
