PULVERIZATION TONER FOR THERMAL TRANSFER PRINT SHEET, THERMAL TRANSFER PRINT SHEET, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE TONER AND THE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverization toner for a thermal transfer print sheet, with which an image on a white base can be thermally melted and bonded to a print object without using an adhesive, and which gives no damage to a pulverizing machine, and to provide a thermal transfer print sheet obtained by using the pulverization toner, a thermal transfer printed material produced by using the thermal transfer print sheet, and methods for producing the pulverization toner and the sheet.SOLUTION: The pulverization toner for a thermal transfer print sheet is prepared by pulverizing a melted and kneaded material comprising a polyester resin having a condensed unit of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic diol, and a white pigment having a new Mohs hardness of 5 or lower. The thermal transfer print sheet includes: a release sheet having a releasable surface; a printed image which is formed on the release sheet and can be transferred onto a transfer target medium; and a white toner layer which is formed by transferring and fixing the pulverization toner on the printed image.
