PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pulse time spreading device having a wavelength dispersion compensation function.;SOLUTION: A dispersion compensation SSFBG includes first PKFBG to M-th PKFBG, and each of the first PKFBG to the M-th PKFBG includes N unit FBGs. Bragg reflection wavelengths λ1, λ2, ... λM which are set to N unit FBGs included in the first PKFBG to the M-th PKFBG satisfy λ1λ2...λM. Defining given delay time as TW; and light speed in a vacuum as c, the first PKFBG to the M-th PKFBG are disposed in order including a disposition intervals Lw expressed by TW×c/(2×neff). When an input optical pulse is input, a chip pulse train is output as a reflected light in which the wavelength spectrum is given with a time delay TW on a time axis for the respective wavelengths λ1, λ2, ... λM.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
