ROAD MAP PREPARATION DEVICE, ROAD MAP PREPARATION METHOD AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of a road map, namely, navigation surely more than before.;SOLUTION: The road map preparation device mounted to a moving body, and generating a map of a road accompanied by a movement of the moving body along the road comprises: detection means for detecting a coordinate of a current location of the moving body; approximation means for calculating an approximate line of the coordinate group on the basis of a set (thereafter called as a coordinate group) of the coordinate detected by the detection means; acquisition means for acquiring road specification information serving as information representing a design specification of the road; and determination means for determining whether the approximate line complies with the design specification represented by the road specification information. When it is determined by the determination means that the approximate line does not comply with the design specification, the approximate means corrects the approximate line so as to comply with the design specification and generates a road map on the basis of an approximate line to be calculated by the approximate means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
