PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor mitigating influence of heat EMF, without limiting kind of resistance alloy to be used.;SOLUTION: A metal piece type resistor 10 includes a resistance element 13 formed from a piece of metallic material that is a resistor electrically, a first terminal 16 that is electrically connected to the resistance element and forms a first joined part, and a second terminal 20 that is electrically connected to the resistance element and forms a second joined part. The first terminal and the second terminal are formed from a piece of a conductive metallic material.
