PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification unit with a humidifying function for use in a humidifier, a humidifier-air cleaner or the like, and capable of ensuring less noise and high maintainability.;SOLUTION: Water is pumped from a humidifying water storage tank 2 storing therein humidifying water by rotation of a water wheel 7 and supplied to an intermediate water storage tank 6 of a humidifying filter 3 provided on the humidifying water storage tank 2. The humidifying water supplied to and stored in the intermediate water storage tank 6 is uniformly supplied to the humidifying filter 3 since it is difficult to cause uneven supply of the humidifying water to the humidifying filter 3 by a water absorbing action of the humidifying filter 3 in a portion of the humidifying filter 3 above the intermediate water storage tank 6 and by gravitational water supply and the water absorbing action of the humidifying filter 3 in a portion of the humidifying filter 3 below the intermediate water storage tank 6. Because of non-uneven and uniform supply of water to the humidifying filter 3, it is possible to humidify a target from an entire surface of the humidifying filter 3 and to ensure less noise, high maintainability, and high efficiency in the humidification.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
