PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a white pearly multilayer coating film, capable of forming the white pearly multilayer coating film which is thin and excellent in finished appearance, using an aqueous primer, an aqueous color base coating material, and an aqueous interference color base coating material.;SOLUTION: The method for forming the white pearly multilayer coating film includes (1) a step of forming an uncured white conductive primer layer by painting a given aqueous white conductive primer (A) on a plastic base, (2) a step of forming an uncured white non-conductive color base layer by electrostatically painting a given aqueous white non-conductive color base coating material (B) on the white conductive primer layer, (3) a step of forming an uncured interference color base layer by electrostatically painting a given aqueous interference color base coating material (C) on the white non-conductive color base layer, (4) a step of forming an uncured clear layer by electrostatically painting a clear coating material (D) on the interference color base layer, and (5) a step of baking at the same time these 4 layers of coating films formed with the processes (1)-(4).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
