PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic resin emulsion for obtaining an aqueous inkjet ink composition exhibiting high viscosity without using a thickner, and excellent in ink properties such as glossiness.SOLUTION: There is provided an acrylic resin emulsion for an aqueous inkjet ink composition containing acrylic resin particles having an acid value of 1 to 100 mgKOH/g and having a ratio between a molar content ratio of an acid group-containing monomer at a surface area of the acrylic resin particles (As) measured withH spin diffusion time of 5 ms and the molar content ratio of the acid group-containing monomer in all the acrylic resin particles (At), (As/At) of 9 or more.
