PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of highly sensitively analyzing even an analysis sample containing a trace quantity of iodine 129 of 10^-10 level or the like.;SOLUTION: In the analytic method of iodine 129 of the present invention, an analysis sample is ionized by inductive coupling plasma, ions are selectively converged with an ion lens, and mass analysis is performed, thereby determining the isotopic ratio of iodine 129/iodine 127.
