PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring roller for detecting the flatness deviation of a belt-like material, which is capable of more accurately and/or more easily measuring the flatness deviation.SOLUTION: The measuring roller for detecting flatness deviation of a belt-like material has a longitudinal axial line and at least one sensor which is arranged in a recess provided in the measuring roller and is capable of generating a measurement signal corresponding to a force applied to an outer surface of the measuring roller. The measuring roller includes a first temperature sensor located at a first distance from the longitudinal axial line in the radial direction and a second temperature sensor located at a second distance different from the first distance from the longitudinal axial line in the radial direction.
