PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb distribution delay in the Internet broadcast, collect viewing information corresponding to content progress time, and investigate detailed and accurate viewing rate information.;SOLUTION: A viewing rate investigation system distributes the content from a content server 100 to an information terminal 2 via the Internet 5, and investigates the viewing rate. The viewing rate investigation system includes a timeline inserting section 112 which inserts a timeline indicating a distribution-side elapsed time of content data; a data transmitter 116 which distributes the timeline inserted content data; a log recorder 24 which detects a timeline at a timing of reproduction of a media reproducing section 28a, and records a timeline and reproduction history of the media reproduction section 28a into log information, on the basis of the timeline detected by a timeline monitor 25; and a log collecting section 122 which receives log information and links the receiving time of the log information to the timeline recorded in the log information and stores them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
