PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for identifying a cancer object, in particular, a human patient, suitable for an anti-angiogenic cancer therapy.SOLUTION: The invention based on the discovery that nucleolin is a specificity receptor of endostatin provides a diagnosis kit for examining or screening a tumor type and cancer patient, suitable for a therapy using endostatin and other angiogenesis inhibitor. In particular, this diagnosis kit includes DNA or RNA that bonds with an antibody with respect to nucleolin and a nucleic acid having nucleolin as a code. The invention also provides a method for screening angiogenesis inhibitor, in particular, an inhibitor whose action is similar to the action of endostatin. The present invention also provides a method for peculiarly suppressing growth of endothelial cell and new formation of tumor vessel by bonding a cytotoxic agent, for example, a tumor necrosis factor , with an anti-nucleolin.
