PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of improving the interest of a player according to the level of profiency in game of the user.SOLUTION: A game machine system includes: a server 4 which outputs information related to a player to a portable terminal M of the player; and a game machine 1 capable of receiving information which is output onto a screen of the portable terminal M. The server 4 has a proficiency information acquisition means for acquiring proficiency information showing the level of proficiency in game of the player; and a transmission means for transmitting the proficiency information to the portable terminal of the player. The portable terminal M has a means for outputting a display corresponding to the proficiency information received from the server 4 onto the screen of the portable terminal. The game machine 1 has a means for receiving input information according to the display output onto the screen of the portable terminal M; and a frequency distribution change means for changing, based on the input information including the proficiency information, the distribution of display frequency of a plurality of types of message performances to be displayed during the game.
