PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current cold cathode type plasma torch which prevents water leak from an inner surface of a collimator and has a usable life extended longer than that of a conventional one.;SOLUTION: A direct current cold cathode type plasma torch is arranged above a surface of molten steel liquid in order to heat the molten steel in a tundish. An inner surface of the collimator 7 is covered with a cylindrical ceramic liner 9 having a flange part 8 in an upper portion, and the flange part 8 inserted into a gap between an electrode 5 and the collimator 7 includes a through hole 10 for ignition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
