PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated AREB1 improving the environmental stress resistance including resistance to drought, salt and low temperature of plants through its high expression therein, and to provide a method for improving such environmental stress resistance of plants utilizing the activated AREB1.;SOLUTION: A gene encoding the activated AREB1 as an environmental stress responsive transcription factor is provided, being such that the activation control domain of the AREB1 as an environmental stress responsive transcription factor in a plant is deleted and the transcription activation domain on the N-terminal and the DNA-binding domain are contained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
