PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure measuring device and pressure measuring method of an elastic knitted fabric capable of easily measuring pressure by an elastic knitted fabric and obtaining a measurement result with high accuracy.;SOLUTION: A pressure measuring device includes: a plurality of cylinders 10a and 10b around which a cylindrical elastic knitted fabric 100 is wound; a pressure sensor 20 installed on an outer peripheral surface of at least one cylinder 10a of the cylinders 10a and 10b, and measuring pressure with which the elastic knitted fabric 100 presses contacts the cylinder 10a; an interval variable mechanism 30 changing an interval between the cylinders 10a and 10b; and a rotation mechanism 40 for rotating the cylinders 10a and 10b in a linkage manner. A pressure measuring method includes: a step α for winding the cylindrical elastic knitted fabric 100 around the two cylinders 10a and 10b; a step β for changing an interval between the cylinders 10a and 10b so as to make the elastic knitted fabric 100 have predetermined elongation; a step γ for rotating the cylinders 10a and 10b in a linkage manner, and correcting the twisting of the elastic knitted fabric 100 with the predetermined elongation; and a step δ for measuring pressure by the elastic knitted fabric 100.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
